A very tasted Sundanese food, with a Sundanese traditional environment. The price are affordable. The foods was welled done by the chefs, The green sambal was outstanding, and choose Goyobod as your drink.Anyway, avoid the rush hours like lunch time. There will be a long queues on spot.

We love the taste of traditional Sundanese. Alhamdulillah this place can keep the great taste. We visited this place like more than 3 years back and just now we feel like it is just like yesterday.

Get in line to pick your own menu before seated. 3 choices of rice, many kinds of meats, sauted vegetables, mushrooms, eggs, shrimps. Choices are yours. They serves dessert and drinks. Hot tea is free an refillable. Better take more since it's usually got a long queue during lunch or dinner time

The food at Bancakan may appear simple like ordinary sunda restaurants but you will be surprised when you go inside the restaurant. The wide range of cuisine at Bancakan will drop your jaw, you can see it on attached photos below. When you go inside, you will go to the main courses area which at least consisting 20+ types of cuisines. After that you move to the salad and sambal area which are served with three main sambal. For the closing you can choose several drinks like cendol, cincau, and goyobod. Then you are able to pay at the cashier using QRIS supported payment such as gopay, dana, or ovo.

This place is very recommended when you are visiting Bandung. The taste of traditional Sundanese food is very delicious!

The place is ok, but a bit expensive

The best Sundanese restaurant in Bandung. It offers all delicious variant of western Java culinary. And it is the no-smoking area in which you can enjoy your food without being disturbed of the smokes. You would be like in the heaven, when you are there. It would make you forgetting your diet. It has an excellent service and competitive price.

A sundanese restaurant with range of traditional dishes and drinks. Very delicious. However, avoid coming here at peak hours for lunch as you may have to long-wait. Price is reasonable. Seating in main dining room can be quite warm but there is option for a smaller air conditioned room with less number of tables. There's limited parking area and excess cars can be scattered to nearby premises so follows direction from the parking guys.

Simple, delicious, reasonable price

This place is traditional and food is good. You take what you wanna eat from a wide selection of food. Its quite pricey for me. For a person about 50k rupiah but taste is good. Place is non smpking tho.

This place doesn't live up to my expectations. Most of the foods were either too salty or too sweet. It's reasonably priced, though. The place was so crowded, most of the tables are reserved. Also, the entire time I was here, I noticed a very unpleasant smell (perhaps the toilet smell?) from my seating area (which was located faraway from the toilet).

Great option for Sundanese food, good taste, reasonable price.

They have changed the interior of the restaurant. A little bit more cleaner and brighter. The price is the same level with Ampera. They should also put on a billboard of the prices there. So people know what to expect when paying.

Various sundanese food with relatively cheap. For cheaper tips probably you can choose one plate of menu for all your family member or friends then can take from it together instead of take a menu for every plate/person.

The food is delicious, if you are looking for authentic sundanese food this is the right place. However, the queue line will be very long in lunch time. The price is also a bit expensive for sundanese food. I spend around 60k per person here

Already many times come to this place. You can choose any kind of Food that You like from the buffet before heading to the cashier. You better take more Rice, Soup, or vegetable if you Think that would not be enough than to take and count again.

Very crowded and we must at least queuing for 5-10 minutes. But be aware of what you take, they count it per item. I also concern with how they clean those plates as it is still watery. It might lead to food poisoning for those who are sensitive. Overall, the food itself tasted so good and yummy.

This sundanese restaurant has soo many variant of foods. From snacks to main course. Its a 'Self service' restaurant where you pay for whatever you take, and you are free to choose. Each person spent about 50k-75k (depends on the quantity). This restaurant located in the heart of Bandung City and famous as well. So, dont be surprised with the Queue during Weekend.
